Educational Supervisors

A list of current educational supervisors and their contact details is available through Karen Delay, the vts secretary. Generally trainees will remain with an educational supervisor through their ST1 and ST2 years. The ST doctor then continues into ST3 in the practice of their educational supervisor. This is to enable a strong and supportive relationship developed in the early ST years to develop further in ST3 and become a really effective learning experience. During the ST1/2 years the general practice placement may well be in another different practice to gain more varied experience. In this case the GP trainer will act as a clinical supervisor whilst the educational supervisor remains the same throughout.
